I was not thrilled at the color for this week’s Project64 hunt. The first thing I thought of was our carpet or walls. But, despite my best effort, those would not make for very interesting photos. But then….
I remembered this shot of a new baby in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately I already used it for Creative Exchange: Spring Portraits, so it was not an option.
And then I spied a covered dish hanging out on my kitchen counter.
And I thought, Yeah, that would work, but I still wasn’t completely happy.
And then I saw this…hiding in plain sight…on a Tumbleweed-colored wall.

That pretty much says it all, don’t you think so?

Thanks Carol! I just couldn’t pass it up this week, being Mom’s Day and all that.

Like the set of L-words.
This colour project you are doing makes me wonder if I conjure up images in my mind by colour alone. Fascinating. I’m tempted to join you once I’m sure that I can work this way. Where are my 96 pastels 🙂
Still wondering what the Tumbleweed significance is.

Actually, I LOVE the covered dish for tumbleweed. I think it captures it perfectly and the shape is so unique. Not to say I don’t also love the wall art! 🙂
