Quotography: Anything

Gotta love CS Lewis. He cuts rights to the heart of what’s important. But, as much as I like his writings, they are a difficult read unless you are in a completely quiet room with no distractions. And that is because his writings are highly academic. There is no CS Lewis for Dummies handbook.

The Rose of Sharon flower here is from a bush I’ve had for about 15 years. I brought it with me as a sapling from our previous home. It was more than 10 feet tall…until last year when it started to look very tired with not many blooms and thinning foliage. So, we chopped it back to about 6 feet. I’m happy to report it seems to have liked its haircut and has rewarded us with blossoms like this one all summer.
