Summer snowflakes

She looks like a snowflake, doesn’t she? Daucus carota is her official name, but you probably know her as Bird’s Nest, Bishop’s Lace, Wild Carrots or Queen Anne’s Lace.

Personally, I like the name Summer Snowflakes.

  1. Summer snowflakes! Love that name. 🙂 There’s lots of these around my place now, too, and I adore photographing them. Have to watch out for chiggers here though! Thanks for linking up with Flower Art Friday. 🙂

  2. I’ve never heard of this referred to as “Summer Snowflakes,” and I love it.
And to think some see it as a weed!
