Perhaps you noticed I was off the grid last week? We took our annual run-away-from-winter trip and spent the week in Cancun. This year, we met the family there and played in the sun and surf. Peanut is now four years old, and couldn’t get enough of the ocean this time. Isn’t this a great shot of pure joy?
While we were away, middle Missouri got hit with 10 inches of snow! Perfect timing you might think. But….upon our return, evidently Mother Nature didn’t want us to miss out on anything, so she sent another 10 inches Monday night.
This is what we woke up to yesterday morning. Awesome.
Yes, I know. Why did we come back so soon? I’m asking myself that very same question.

The photo makes me think of my soon vacation time in the Philippines. I cannot wait to feel the warmth sun and lounges at the beach all the time. We have our fair share of snow too love the second photo too it is pretty but I know it is cold ^_^ Welcome back!
