Signs of a thaw in the weather…and my mood?

We’re been promised 50F degree weather in a few days. Unfortunately, today in Middle Missouri, it’s still 34F with periods of snow flurries. And wind. Wind that can blow you right off your feet. Cold wind.

But, thankfully, there are signs of thaw…on the trees at least (the ground is still cloaked in snow). And, of course, the ocean vacay photos that are keeping me sane. Guess we have to start somewhere.

  1. Both of these photos are just stunning, Lisa!

I love how you captured the drops of water on the tree branch in that first photo – WOW!

And the second photo reminds me of the beach in Boca Raton, Florida, where I used to live.

We’re supposed to get some snow tomorrow here. In fact, it may be for the next couple of days. I’ve got a trip to NYC planned for tomorrow, and I just hope the snow doesn’t cause any delays.

  4. Love that first photo with the water/ice drops! The second makes me yearn fro sand, water, sun and warmth. We have the same kind of day you have, blustery winds and snow showers, but so far no accumulation because the temp is just above freezing. It is not a day for working in the yard.

  5. Good day! I could have sworn I’ve visited this web site before but after browsing through some of the posts I realized it’s newto me. Regardless, I’m definitely pleased I found it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking back frequently!
