Sometimes in the winds of change we find our true direction.

When, exactly, did it get to be the middle of November?
I look at the calendar and can’t believe Thanksgiving is almost here. Does it sneak up on anyone else? After all, it’s not like we don’t know it’s coming. It happens the same time every year, but doesn’t it seem like we’re rolling along and then….BAM…the holidays hit before we realize it?
As gorgeous as Autumn was this year, it was short-lived and gone too way too soon. And I say this because for the past two days we’ve had cold November rain and wind that seems to be stripping leaves from the trees in record time. What’s the big hurry? Is Jack Frost so eager to nip our noses that he can’t give us a few more weeks of Autumn’s warm hues? Evidently not. Fortunately I found this silky seedpod while walking in the park on Monday…looking like it’s poised and ready for flight.
So November is almost in the wind and the end of the year is upon us. The lovely petals of summer have given way to seed heads ready with fluffy parachutes for the wind to blow them to new destinations and new opportunities to grow in the coming year.
And so it is with us too, isn’t it? As we approach the end of another year, we’ll also begin making lists of things to accomplish next year. We’ll be preparing to see where the winds of change blow us…what new destinations will await us…and with what new opportunities?
Where do you want to winds of change to blow you?
Love that quote, and how true it is!

LOVE that quote, Lisa!!!!!!
Yes, can you believe that Nov. is almost over? Where did it go? And you’re right, it was short-lived and gone way too soon.
“Where do you want to winds of change to blow you?”
Wherever they take me. I’ve gotten to a point in my life where I try not to direct the wind, I just kinda go with it because it seems to know WHERE I need to go, better than I do.
Fab post, my friend! Have a lovely weekend!

Love that quote … love that photo! And, yes, it’s actually almost the end of November now. Where, oh where does the time fly? If I could find it, I’d share it on Friday Finds.
