Not quite Wordless Wednesday

I haven’t done one of these color palettes for…..well, seems like forever ago. I forgot how much I enjoy them. This one is of some thistle Cabo and I found on one of our morning walks. The thistle flower is up in the top right corner. The silky seedpod is in the center, ready to take flight at the first strong, autumn breeze.

Wouldn’t this make a lovely, calming palette for a room? Nature is a fantastic interior designer. 🙂

Blog hopping today with Comedy Plus for Wordless Wednesday.

  1. Yes, Lisa….this would most definitely make a calming palette for a room. I love neutral tones in my home because I find that I don’t tire of them because they’re easy on the eyes. Isn’t nature grand? 🙂

Thanks for sharing the beauty, my friend! Have a great rest of your week!

  2. Lisa,

These colors are calming but I prefer a room’s walls to be a shade of white and accents in the room bare the color scheme. We’re in the housing market and it drives me nearly insane to see a home interior painted with bold colors. I have no idea what’s going on inside these people’s heads but surely those colors aren’t sending a relaxing vibe. I get anxious just looking at the photographs. I’m sure I’m the odd-ball here but I’m happy in my odd-state of mind. 🙂 Thanks for sharing, visiting, and linking up.
