It’s January in middle Missouri….and 65F! Unbelievable. Mom and I have walked two days this week without her having to wear a winter coat. Afterwards, we rewarded ourselves with time on the patio with a magazine and a game of “incessantly throw the Kong ball.” A bit of day drinking on her part may or may not have been involved as well. I can’t really be sure of what was in her glass. 🙂
The cold doesn’t really bother me, but I can tell Mom is really enjoying this unseasonably warm weather. However, I have heard her mention the words “groomer” and “trimmed up” so I’m not sure my winter coat will stay as wooly and warm as it is today.
Santa brought me a new toy. We call him Foxy. Mom has successfully sewn him up about four times already. Unfortunately, my play time with Foxy is now limited and supervised.
Blog hopping this sunny Springuary day with Comedy Plus and Awww Monday. Hope everyone is having a spectacular start to the new year. Say hello to all your fur babies for me

Hi, Cabo. My name is Shasta. My mom won’t take me for walks because it’s icy and she’s afraid of falling. She doesn’t understand that walking in the cold is the best. She doesn’t sew my toys either, she lets me chew and spew their innards all over, and I don’t mind if they get flat,

Since there’s still the rest of winter to go, grooming maybe should wait until a bit closer to spring, but since i live in the south where anything below 70 degrees is cold, i am not sure.
Let’s hope Foxy survives your enthusiasm!

You’re a huge AWWW.
We kept our Little Bit groomed every three weeks. She was an indoor pup and she did fine. You’re a good looking pup. I’m glad you had a good Christmas.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a woof woof Awww Monday. My best to your mom. ♥

Lisa, I’m like Cabo…I don’t mind the cold at all. In fact, I love it:) We’ve had the same kind of winter. One week it feels like spring, the next it feels more like winter. I’m praying for a few good snowfalls and some freezing temps in the next two months.
LOVE these photographs! OMG…Cabo is the most ADORABLE doggie. I love his face! And his fur looks like it’s so soft.
Have a fabulous week, my friend!

Cabo, you make that messy look a good look. As to the toy… well, Milo knows they are there to be torn up. That’s the point to them. However he began to eat the skin off his kong donut last night… not okay!
Grooming is a poodle/doodle’s lot in life. Gotta suffer for beauty!
