On the motionless branches of some trees, autumn berries hung like clusters of coral beads, as in those fabled orchards where the fruits were jewels . . .
~Charles Dickens
It’s here! Summer has finally gone on vacay to the southern hemisphere, and Autumn is moving into the neighborhood. I’ve no idea what these berries are, but I’m sure the birds are excited. This is my first Fall photo but, hopefully, it surely won’t be my last this month.

Lisa, when I first saw your photograph, I thought they were wine grapes and that you either visited or started your own vineyard! 🙂
Isn’t it wonderful that AUTUMN is finally here? OMG, I’m so excited! Yesterday and today I actually wore a light jacket when I went outside. I was off yesterday, so I took a long walk down to the lower part of Philly and had the time of my life because it cool and overcast. I stopped at my favorite coffee shop and ordered a dark roast, and then sat outside at a table and just enjoyed the weather.
I’m so looking forward to when the leaves start to change color so I can take pictures of them.
Enjoy Autumn, my friend! 🙂
