I’ve kept an eye on them for weeks; anxiously waiting for the opportunity to use them. The couple sit on a high window sill in the master bathroom. I’ve always loved the way the light comes through the window and plays with the color in their glass.
Can you tell what they are?
When blue came up this week for Project 64: Out of the Box, I knew I’d found this week’s color and an idea for Lisa Gordon’s Creative Exchange. So I carefully climbed up and around the edge of the tub, plucked them from the sill and placed them in my very elaborate, expensive photography studio.
Yes, that is my kitchen sink on the right. And, as a base and backdrop, are two partial pieces of white foam core board.
You’re laughing right now, aren’t you? I know you are.

These are gorgeous. And you found the perfect blue (and green if you needed it).

Beautiful, again. Your studio is much more sophisticated than mine. Mine usually consists of a pillowcase or sheet – most often slightly wrinkled.

Not laughing one little bit: I do the same and a wonderfully efficient studio it is too.
Your blue objects made me think of dolphins.
And the blue matches so well with the colour sample.
Great picture of wonderful shapes.

Not laughing at all, because I cannot tell you the number of times I have done the same!
I mean if it works, why knock it, right???
I have something very similar to these, and almost the very same color too. Mine are dolphins (or something like that!)
Thank you so much for sharing this at The Creative Exchange, Lisa.
Have a wonderful evening!

Very interesting work you have here. I’m glad I found your site through the Creative Exchange. The blue glass detail is great. I’m fascinated by glass, too.
