Meet the newest member of our family clan. He’s a 9-week old border collie that has a home on Entrepreneur’s parents’ cattle farm. He’s yet to be named, but leading the list is: Scout, Laddie and Duke.

OMG Lisa, he is sooooooooooooooooo dang CUTE! I just wanna kiss his sweet little black nose. I swear, you have such a talent for picking dogs with the most ADORABLE faces!
ALL great names, but my personal favorite is Laddie. To me, he looks like a Laddie.

I didn’t pick him! Entrepreneur’s dad came home with him last week. They had to say goodbye to their older border collie mix last year and he’s been missing having one around. But, he is a cutie..whatever they name him.

Border collie have the superior intelligence. Experts often refer to Border Collies as the rocket scientists of the canine world. Border Collies are also known to be highly sensitive to their handler’s cue – whether its a whistle or a raised eyebrow or even a hand signal. Another unique aspect of a Border Collie is their unique stare, also called “the eye”. The stare is supposed to be so intense that nothing can escape from it. The stare or the eye helps the Border Collie to herd sheep and keep an eye on them.
