Project 64: Sepia

I love pottery. Especially when I know it’s been made by an actual potter and not mass produced in some manufacturing plant. There’s something about creating with your hands that is so satisfying. And it doesn’t need to be pottery. It could be photography, gardening, sewing, drawing, painting music composition, etc. It’s more about the individual’s creative process…and the fact that nothing comes out the same way twice.

The creative person is both more primitive and more cultivated,
more destructive and more constructive,

a lot madder and a lot saner, than the average person.

  1. This may sound strange Lisa, but this is one of my favorite colors. In home decor, in clothing, in photography. Actually in just about anything.
This pottery is beautiful, and so perfect for sepia!
